Zain Jordan has announced that it has selected the Ericsson Charging & Billing in One (CBIO) solution as part of the operator's ongoing efforts to provide subscribers with additional billing flexibility.
This marks a success story with Zain in Jordan to implement Ericsson's single rating convergence and swapping out five different rating engines.
With Ericsson's CBIO solution, both prepaid and postpaid Zain subscribers will be able to benefit from the advantages of convergent charging and billing. Subscribers will experience enhanced billing flexibility, which will allow them to try new services without facing unexpected costs at the end of the month.
Ahmad Al Hanandeh, CEO, Zain Jordan, says: "This latest step in our partnership with Ericsson will allow us to provide unparalleled billing flexibility to our subscribers and pave the way for the introduction of more advanced technologies in the future. Zain revolutionized telecommunications in Jordan by introducing GSM mobile services to the country in 1994. To this day we continue to adopt cutting-edge technology to provide state of the art services to our subscribers."
"We envision a world where everything that can be connected will be connected," says Tarek Saadi, President, Ericsson North Middle East.
