Genius appoints Gaurav Mathur as India business head

Genius, one of the world’s leading computer and smartphone peripherals and accessories brand, has appointed Gaurav Mathur, as the Country Business Head for India.

Mathur brings with him over 13 years of international experience working in various managerial positions with leading technology, retail and consumer brands.

At Genius India, Mathur would be responsible for charting and driving the company’s growth blueprint, through greater market penetration and strengthening the brand equity.

His key job responsibilities include overseeing the management, planning and implementing business plan and operations in India, leading, restructuring and redesigning the business model in order to align it with the company’s overall goals and objectives. In his previous role where he was responsible for Transcend Information’s entire South Asian region, Mathur is credited with substantial business expansion and channel penetration in corporate/government sectors and online platforms.
