Micromax is all set to launch a 7 inch Micromax Funbook Mini P 410 Dual SIM Calling Tablet soon. The device is listed on the websites of online retailers like Infibeam and Flipkart for Rs 8820.
There is no word from the company about its official launch and its availability in the in Indian market. But this is sure to heat up race for the low-cost tablets in the country.
This tablet features a 7 inch Touch Screen with a display resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System and is powered by 1GHz Dual Core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with Wi-Fi and GP, 2800mAh battery and 4GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB.
Micromax Funbook Mini P 410 sports a 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. It also has USB and Bluetooth that allow you to share or transfer files to other devices with ease.
Last month Micromax launched its first Canvas tablet called Canvas Tab P650. The device has a price tag of Rs 16,500 and is available in stores across India. Before that the company had launched an all new Funbook P255 tablet with 7 inch capacitative touchscreen.
Tablet PC witnessed a massive growth figure of 424 percent in India. The sales for 2012-13 stood at 1.9 million units as against 0.36 million units in 2011-12.
Micromax ranks second with 13.33% market share after Samsung with 15.76% in the tablet market in India.
