BlackBerry rejects offers from Microsoft, Apple and Lenovo-Report
TT Correspondent |  |  09 Nov 2013

The BlackBerry's board is believed to have spurned the offers of many technology firms showing interest in acquiring parts of the company, according to Reuters.

These companies include Microsoft, Apple and Lenovo Group. According to the report “the board rejected proposals from several technology companies for various BlackBerry assets on grounds that a break-up did not serve the interest of all stakeholders”.

According to Reuters, BlackBerry was in talks with Cisco Systems Inc, Google Inc and Chinese computer maker Lenovo, among others, about selling all, or parts of itself.
