Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd. (SSTL), which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, has tied up with the retail chain Big Bazaar.

As part of the association, MTS will setup in-shop kiosks in 12 Big Bazaar stores at prominent locations across Kolkata, i.e. Esplanade, Sealdah, Salt lake, Avani Mall, Lilua, VIP, Diamond City North, Birati, Hiland Park, Jadavpur Orbit Mall, Woodsquare and Lake Mall.

The kiosks would act as an extension of MTS branded stores providing the entire range of products and services offered by the company. This strategic tie-up will not only give MTS immense brand visibility but also provide an ideal platform to connect, engage and service customers. This initiative would add strength to the existing robust retail network of over 150 branded retail outlets and service centers and over 40,000 mass retail outlets across West Bengal.

Sandeep Marwaha, Chief Operating Officer, Kolkata and West Bengal Circles, MTS India said, “ Through this tie-up, we aim to expand our reach and get closer to customers. This new initiative will not only help us in increasing our sales but will help us expand our retail foot print.”
