Betting on the rising popularity of phablets (smartphones with more than 5-inch display) Intex has launched its new phablet Aqua i4+ with 8MP camera in India at Rs 7,600.
The dual-SIM device features a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480) display and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.2. The Intex Aqua i4+ is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor, with 512MB of RAM and boasts of an 8 megapixel camera with flash and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. The phone comes with an internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB through microSD card
It has 3G, HSPA+, and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. It comes with a large 2000mAh battery which the company claims can give a talk time of 6 hours and a standby time of 220 hours.

Recently Intex was in news for introducing its first Android smartphone with Mediatek’s MT6592 octa-core processor in India. The company said that eight process cores will function simultaneously. The company has not revealed the price and the launch details. |
