Anritsu Corporation has announced that the company’s ME7834L Mobile Device Test Platform has been validated as DOCOMO approved test equipment (D-ATE) for the second consecutive year.
The D-ATE system was developed for testing the interconnectivity of mobile communications devices with the NTT DOCOMO network and is used at acceptance tests of LTE/UMTS smartphones, communications modules, and chipsets for NTT DOCOMO.
Anritsu and NTT DOCOMO have been solution partners since development of the PDC system and the ME7834L has held the leading coverage in test case validation for development of LTE D-ATE systems since December 2012. The ME7834L is the world’s only D-ATE test platform with 100% validation, covering all NTT DOCOMO test cases defined as D-ATE testing for the new 2014 models.
The test platform uses the MD8430A LTE Signalling Tester with the popular SIDE software, which 31 companies have also adopted worldwide using more than 380 copies of SIDE. As well as supporting smartphone acceptance tests, Anritsu is also a world-leading supplier of measurement solutions for supporting communications services, including smartphone acceptance test, development and manufacturing, network construction, quality assurance, etc.
The company is continuing with development of leading-edge measurement solutions for NTT DOCOMO’s much anticipated VoLTE and LTE-A Carrier Aggregation services. |
