Reliance Jio has demonstrated an impressive download and upload speeds of up to 49mbps and 9mbps respectively for 4G LTE services to be launched in the first half of 2014.
The company promises to offer over 12 times faster than the current average of 4Mbps on the country's 3G networks.
With video viewing getting huge response from India's growing smartphone market this will give a huge fillip to the data consumption on which all the telecom operators are now betting on.
RJIL which is the only company in the country to have nationwide 4G spectrum holding large chunk 20Mhz in one frequency band known as wireless broadband access (BWA) specturm. It has been allocated 2.2 crore numbers to start its services.
Currently Reliance loud service Jio Drive its subscribers 100 GB of free storage space. RJIL’s pilot healthcare project was also on display. This is restricted to only six Reliance Foundation clinics. |
