Simmtronics has introduced XPAD Turbo a budget tablet with 7-inch display in the Indian market at Rs7,999. Before this the company launched a number of tablets which includes XPAD-XQ1, XPAD X-722, XPAD X720, XPAD 801, XPAD X1010, XPAD 802 and XPAD Freedom.
The XPAD Turbo features 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and runs onAndroid 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The dual-Sim device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with a Mali 400MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. The XPAD Turbo tablet comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera and also houses a VGA front-facing camera.
The XPAD Turbo has 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, Micro-USB and 3G (via SIM) as connectivity options. It packs a large 2800mAh battery which according to company’s claims can offer up to 140 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of Internet browsing time.
Indrajit S Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics said that the tablet comes with a facility to use both 2G and 3G.
