Dell has the 8-inch Venue 8 Pro and the 11-inch Venue 11 Pro tablets which run on Windows 8.1 for Indian customers. The company through tablets has targeted who need perfect device for entertainment and professional work.
While Venue 8 Pro will have a price tag of Rs 26,499, the company has not revealed the price of the Venue 11 Pro. The Dell Venue 8 Pro is available in red and black.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a 1280x800-pixel HD IPS screen and is powered by a quad-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM. It weighs 395g and is 9mm thick and comes with is 32GB storage capacity expandable via a microSD card slot.
The 64GB version may launched soon. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front. It packs in s battery that lasts at 9.9 hours.
The Venue 11 Pro on the other hand features full-HD 1920x1080-pixel screen with support for 10-finger simultaneous touch. It is powered by I2.4 GHz Intel Atom processor. It is available with 64 GB or 128 GB storage capacity depending on the model.
It boasts of an 8-megapixel rear camera 2-megapixel front-facing webcam. It comes with a full-sized USB 3.0 host port for connecting external storage devices and peripherals and a mini-HDMI video port. It has dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC (Near-Field Communication) as connectivity options. It battery lasts 8 and 10 hours.
The Venue 8 Pro will be offered with a keyboard case and the Venue 11 Pro with an attachable keyboard with an additional battery.
Dell also launched Venue 7 and Venue 8 Android tablets for the Indian market. Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablet are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 17,499 respectively. The devices are available through the firm's online store.
Their features include the 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 (Clover Trail) processor, IPS Display with HD (WXGA 1280 x 800) resolution, Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated 4100mAh 1-Cell Battery. Both tablets are available in only Black colour variant. |
