Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider has been named Responsible Supplier of the Year 2013 by Vodafone Group.

The Responsible Supplier Award recognises Huawei for its performance in Health and Safety (H&S) across the Vodafone markets and its full engagement with Vodafone's sustainability and joint H&S performance. In presenting this award, Vodafone acknowledges Huawei's commitment to fulfil its H&S requirements across 21 markets. Huawei was the first supplier to sign up to Vodafone's H&S consequence management programme.

The award was presented by Ninian Wilson, Technology Category SCM Director, at the Vodafone Supplier Awards Ceremony in Woking.
