“Response for auctions is better than what we expected,” said an official of the department of telecommunications (DoT). This comment explains the way spectrum auction is progressing for 1800 MHz and 900 Mhz bands.

At the end of day 2, 10 rounds of bidding were complete. Bids worth more than Rs 45,000 crore were received. Bids were received in all 3 Service Areas in 900 MHz band. Thus, bidding has taken place in all the service areas in both bands.
