Asus, on Tuesday, has launched Fonepad 7 Dual SIM voice-calling tablet in India for Rs 12999. It was initially announced at MWC in Barcelona this year, alongside an LTE variant. The device supports dual-SIM functionality and voice-calling and supports Micro-SIM cards. It comes with 7 inch LED IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
The new Asus Fonepad 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel 'Clover Trail+' Atom Z2520 processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage, while Asus is also offering 16 GB on Asus Webstorage cloud space for one-year.
The device sports a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB and 3G (HSPA+).
The Fonepad 7 Dual SIM has a 3910 mAh battery, which delivers up to 10 hours of battery life. It will be available in Grey and White colour variants. The tablet measures 199.5 x 120.8 x 11.35mm and weighs 340 grams. |
