Lenovo has launched S860 smartphone in India at Rs. 21,500. Lenovo S860 will be available in physical retail and exclusive Lenovo stores starting May 3. It is currently up for pre-order at the company's online store with a booking amount of Rs. 1,999. S860 was launched with other S-series smartphones - S660 and S850 - at MWC in Barcelona.

Bundled with stylish design, blazing fast processing speeds, and integrated Lenovo proprietary apps, these phones provide customers a great user experience without sacrificing performance", said Sudhin Mathur, Director - Smartphones, Lenovo India.
 
Lenovo S860 smartphone features a 5.3 inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) 1.3 GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It might get an Android 4.4 KitKat update soon.

                     
 
Lenovo S860 sports an 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 1.6 megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera also onboard. The highlight of the Lenovo S860 is its large 4000 mAh battery, which delivers up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 960 hours of standby time on 3G network.
 
The smartphone comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage and supports USB on-the-go. For connectivity it includes:  Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G connectivity options. The Lenovo S860 is available in Titanium colour variant.
