Bloom, the mobile handset brand is back in the Indian mobile handsets market. Manish Jain, CEO, MSR Telecom Pvt. Ltd. (MSR) recently announced acquisition of the Bloom Mobiles from Byondtech Pvt. Ltd., Pune.
“MSR has drawn a sharp & innovative strategy for making Bloom the preferred brand of the Indian youth. Bloom shall expand the choice basket for the Indian mobile users with best-in-class features and designs at value for money prices”, said Manish Jain, CEO MSR Telecom.
MSR is targeting a top-line of Rs. 250 Cr in the first year of operation and plans launch of 26 models in first quarter which include 6 smart phones to target all key segments of the market under the Bloom brand. Bloom shall be positioned as an aspirational brand targeted at the youth.
According to Jain, the cutting edge design and urbane style shall be the key differentiator. A phased pan-India roll-out of the brand is planned. The first phase shall target availability at top mobile phone retail outlets in 10 major states covering North and East of India. Jain stated that a well experienced team is already in place as are most of the distribution tie-ups.
The company has setup it’s own after sales service network to ensure promptness and customer delight. Incidentally, Manish Jain was a core team member at Byondtech when Bloom was launched 4 years back with a innovative sales strategy that had made Bloom quite a success as a dependable, value for money mobile phones brand. |
