HP on Sunday unveiled the new 11.6-inch Chromebook for $249, around Rs. 14,700, and 14-inch, an Android-based notebook with a clamshell form-factor called the Slatebook PC for $399, around Rs. 23,580 and will be available from August 6.
Like the last year's Chromebook 11, the new HP Chromebook PC has a 11.6-inch display. It is powered by a Samsung processor. It has a internal 16GB storage and 2GB RAM.
The Chromebook PC will come in various colours, initially it will come in turquoise and white colour variant. The new HP Chromebook PC wil provide a battery life of six hours and 25 minutes.
HP also announced a new Android-based notebook with a clamshell form-factor called the Slatebook PC has a 14-inch touchscreen with a full-HD (1080p) screen. It runs on an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, quad-core CPU with 2GB of RAM.
It has 64GB of internal storage. The new HP Slatebook PC wil provide a battery life of nine hours.
HP promises that it has added tools which will help in scaling Android apps to the size of the larger screen.
There is only model available right now, but it’s a fetching black-and-yellow machine. |
