CSG International, on Tuesday announced that MTN has selected CSG for a long-term managed services engagement that will enable MTN South Africa to simplify and streamline its operations and focus its resources on core business lines.
Under the terms of the multiyear agreement, CSG will provide end-to-end management of the MTN wholesale billing and business services platform. The engagement includes the management of a variety of complex solutions, from CSG products and services such as CSG Singleview, CSG Route, and CSG Interconnect, to home-grown MTN tools and systems from other third-party providers.

CSG has the proven breadth and depth of domain knowledge to handle our entire suite of wholesale billing and operational capabilities. Their management of our billing stack will allow us to remain competitive and serve our customers better by enabling us to bring new products to market faster, to invest in innovative new service offerings, and to reinvest the cost savings from the managed services engagement back into strategic business solutions”, said Neil Tomkinson, Chief Information Officer of MTN South Africa.
CSG managed services enable MTN South Africa to gain significant process improvements by having CSG assume accountability for the entire wholesale product and services domain and manage a wide variety of subcontractors on behalf of MTN.
