Teradata, on Wednesday announced that it has appointed Sunil Jose as the Managing Director for India. Sunil will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Teradata’s India business, as well as overseeing and guiding the sales & customer management, professional services, support, alliances and marketing initiatives. Sunil Jose brings to Teradata over two decades of international IT industry experience around managing business and countrywide operations, driving growth, winning strategic customers, and leading alliances, sales and marketing initiatives.
“Sunil’s appointment illustrates his long-standing reputation as an industry veteran, who has been responsible for driving growth and strategy in his previous roles. I have every confidence that with his experience he will be able to lead Teradata India to the next level of growth, as it is a critical geography for us internationally”, said Chris Armitage, Area VP, Teradata.

Most recently, Sunil was Vice President – Applications, with Oracle India, managing its business operations, overseeing license sales, product management and sales consulting for the India geography. Prior to joining Oracle, Sunil was with Sybase as India and ASEAN Managing Director and had held several key executive positions at other leading technology firms including IBM, American Power Conversion (APC), and HCL, where he started his career. |
