HTC, on Friday launched the HTC One (M8 Eye) smartphone in India for Rs. 38,990. HTC One (M8 Eye) is almost identical to its sibling, the HTC One (M8), the only difference is that the One (M8 Eye) features a 13 megapixel rear camera instead of 4 UltraPixel camera in One (M8).

The HTC One (M8 Eye) runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the company's latest Sense 6.0 UI on top. HTC One (M8 eye Eye) comes with a 5-inch full-HD display and is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2 GB of RAM. It has a 13 megapixels rear camera with 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage and can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. HTC One (M8 Eye) also comes pre-loaded with the newly-introduced HTC Eye Experience suite of imaging software and camera-centric apps, first unveiled alongside the HTC Desire Eye.
The device measures 146.36x70.6x9.35mm dimension and weights 160 grams. It is backed by a 2600 mAh Li-Po battery, which the company claims can offer a talk time (3G) for up to 24.01 hours and standby time (3G) of up to 309.45 hours. For connectivity options it includes 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, micro-USB 2.0, and 4G LTE.
HTC also launched the HTC RE action camera for Rs. 9,990. The device will be exclusively available via e-commerce site Snapdeal starting the first week of November.
HTC also unveiled the octa-core HTC Desire 820 and quad-core HTC Desire 820q in India. The Desire 820 has been priced at Rs. 24,990, while the Desire 820q has been priced at Rs. 22,500. Both phones will be available in markets from November 4. |
