Lenovo has launched its most affordable 4G LTE smartphone in India, the Lenovo A6000 dual-SIM, priced for Rs. 6,999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Interested buyers can register on the site and registrations will remain open until January 27, 6 pm. The smartphone will go on sale at 2 pm on 28 January and only those who have registered will get a chance to buy the smartphone, though the company hasn't said how many units will be available. The smartphone was first showcased earlier this month at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, (CES 2015).

Lenovo A6000 smartphone comes with 5-inch HD (720x1280-pixel) IPS screen. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS with the company's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top and powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, with 1GB RAM.

Lenovo A6000 smartphone also has 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front camera. Its inbuilt storage is 8GB which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card.

For connectivity options smartphone has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE. It supports the TDD band 40 and FDD band 1,3,7 and 20 with 2,300mAh removable battery, which can deliver up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 264 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

Lenovo A6000 smartphone has Dolby Digital Plus dual speakers. Company will also release an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but no timeframe was announced.
