ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has become the first vendor to successfully complete China Mobile’s large-capacity VoLTE (Voice over LTE) tests.
ZTE’s IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solutions deployed in the China Mobile test delivered robust and stable network performance, fully fulfilling customer requirements, demonstrating VoLTE capacity, voice quality and continuity that exceeded projections. ZTE completed the full range of tests, including network function, service function, performance test and IOT, ahead of all other participating vendors.
Deployment of VoLTE services is accelerating globally. By September 2014, there were 51 million VoLTE subscribers and 11 VoLTE networks are commercially deployed, according to data from industry researcher Infonetics Research. The number of operators deploying VoLTE services will exceed 20 by the end of 2015.
ZTE’s VoLTE and IMS solutions offer hierarchical QoS guarantee, seamless 2G/3G/WiFi/4G voice continuity handover and end-to-end O&M features, guaranteeing HD voice quality, delivering superior user experience and easy O&M. ZTE’s VoLTE and IMS capabilities are recognized globally, with the company winning over 170 contracts for IMS/VoLTE contracts from operators across the world. |
