Microsoft has launched its lowest cost Lumia 435 Windows smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 5,999. It was announced in January along with Lumia 532.
Microsoft Lumia 435 is a dual-SIM phone. It has a 4 inch screen with 480 x 800pixels resolution and is powered with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal memory that can be further extended up to 128GB using microSD card. The device comes with a 2 megapixels rear camera and a VGA front camera. It is power backed with a 1560 mAh battery.
Lumia 435 runs on Microsoft's Windows 8.1 Operating System and comes with the pre-installed Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), OneNote and Microsoft Outlook. It also sports 'Action Center', which is similar to the Notification Center of Android phones. Lumia 435 is comes with Cortana, which features same as Siri in Apple devices and Google Now in Android.
This is Microsoft’s cheapest Lumia device in the market and will compete with the devices like Moto E, Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Lenovo A6000. Lumia 435 is only available on Microsoft's online store. The Lumia 435 will be available in bright green, bright orange, white and black colour variants. |
