Wickedleak launches Wammy Titan 4 smartphone with huge 5330 mAh battery for Rs 14990

Wickedleak, on Thursday launched mid-range Wammy Titan 4 octa-core Smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 14,990. The device is now available for pre booking on Wickedleak’s website and will be delivered from March 1st2015. The smartphone also comes with optional AquaProtect water resistant technology, that takes the price up to Rs. 16,490.
 
“Wickedleak is leveraging a platform with an affordable yet power packed device, as it offers the flexibility to address the users' increasingly varied demands. With the launch of Wammy Titan 4, we intend to get premium devices in the hands of consumers at affordable rates while ensuring the consumers get all the latest specifications like an Octa-core Processor and Android Versions,” said Aditya Mehta, CEO, Wickedleak Inc.
 
Wammy Titan 4 is a dual-SIM device and measures 146x73.6x9.3 mm. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box and is upgradeable to 5.0 Lollipop OS. It features a 5 inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 441 ppi and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered with 1.7GHz MediaTek True octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. The phone is equipped with Mali 450 GPU which can handle all the high end games users want to play.

Wammy Titan 4 sports a 16 megapixels rear camera with Sony Exmor RS Sensor and an 8 megapixels front camera. The camera is equipped with features like Motion Capture and Voice Capture i.e. user can give a voice command to click a picture or just wave his hand over the screen to click. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. For connectivity Wammy Titan 4 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. The device also features finger print scanner.
 
Wammy Titan 4 main attraction is its 5330 mAh battery - the largest ever included in a smartphone. The previous unofficial record in this regard was set by the Philips W66180 and its 5300 mAh battery. The 5330 mAh battery can provide a usage time of up to 4 days of continuous usage. The battery has a fast charging mode (going up to 75% in 1 hour), and can be used to transfer power to other smartphones and devices.
