ABM AMRO ties up with Paymate to offer mobile payment services

ABM AMRO has formed an alliance with PayMate, a mobile payments provider to enable customers to make payments via mobile phone.

 

Through this service, the bank customers will be able to make bill payments and airline and movie ticket reservations with their mobile phones. Existing customers of the bank need to sign up for this service while the new customers automatically get registered as and when they sign up for mobile banking services.

 

Ajay Adiseshann, managing director and founder, PayMate said “We are also in talks with SBI to play a part in their mobile-banking offering.”
