TT Correspondent |  |  25 Feb 2015

After slashing the termination charges. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) on Tuesday also slashed carriage charges to 35 paise per minute from 65 paise earlier, which telecom operators need to pay providers of long-distance telephony for carrying STD calls.

The ceiling of 65 paise for carriage charge was fixed in 2006.
