Gionee, on Monday announced its latest Ultra Smartphone ELIFE S7 smartphone at the ongoing Mobile World Congress. The smartphone is priced at EUR 399, i.e. approximately Rs. 24,200 and will be launched in India in April. The handset measures 139.8x67.4x5.5 mm and weighs 127 gm. It will come in Black, White, and Blue colour options.

Gionee Elife S7 is the first ultra slim phone that supports dual SIM, multi-band and multi-mode such as 4G FDD/TDD LTE and 3G WCDMA/TDSCDMA. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the company's own Amigo 3.0 UI. It features 5.2 inch full HD Super Amoled display in 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with a pixel density of 424ppi. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
 
Elife S7 is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. The device comes with a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixel front camera. The device comes with limited 16GB inbuilt storage and is non-expandable via microSD card.
 
For connectivity Gionee Elife S7 includes - 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB OTG, and FM radio. It is power backed by a non-removable 2700 mAh battery, which according to last whole day. Also, it features a unique extreme mode, which automatically enables 10% of remaining battery power to potentially last for 33 hours 45 minutes standby time by freezing functions except calling and text messages to ensure basic communications.
 
The S7 will include a Hi-Fi level headphone and offer superior sound quality with instinctive Hi-Fi standard sound system that features sound restorations. With the built-in tailor-made speaker and Smart PA, users can enjoy music accompanied by louder and richer sounds, bringing a home theater system experience to an ultra slim phone.
