Huawei, on Wednesday announced that it will introduce its new Intelligent Modular Data Center Solution at MWC 2015. Adopting an integrated modular design, the solution features the advantages of easy installation and maintenance, rapid deployment, and capacity expansion for IT enterprise customers.
With the cloud computing and mobile internet trends growing rapidly, the associated surge in IT density and energy consumption are challenging the capacities of traditional data centers related to ridge construction, high energy consumption, and high OPEX. As such and in order to create more intelligent data centers, there is an urgent need to transition both the construction and operation of traditional centers from rigid, rough, and labor-dependent operation to one that is flexible, precise, and process-dependent.
“As a leading global ICT solutions provider with unique insights into industry trends, Huawei is proud to introduce its new Intelligent Modular Data Center Solution at MWC 2015. Fused with the Internet of Things and digital and information technology, the efficient and reliable solution enables power, cooling, and IT infrastructure to become smarter and more intelligent, helping customers achieve optimal operation efficiency and return on investment,” said Fang Liangzhou, Vice President, Huawei Network Energy Product Line.
Innovating the field, Huawei’s new Intelligent Modular Data Center Solution adopts a modular architecture with integrated interface, component, and system (including power, cooling, cabinet and management system). The solution also features the advantages of easy installation and maintenance, rapid deployment, and capacity expansion. For instance, as businesses grow, customers can simply copy the module to expand capacity of the data center with no need to redesign thus avoiding additional investment.
Huawei’s Intelligent Modular Data Center Solution also excels as a green data center with low PUE leveraging its digital technology, highly-efficient uninterruptable power supply (UPS), direct current and frequency conversion, intelligent linkage, L0/L1/L2 synergy, and precise cooling. Meanwhile, the solution’s automatic capacity and assessment management infrastructure optimizes the utilization of resources to make operation more efficient.
With data centers expected to factor significantly in the future of enterprise IT construction, Huawei pursues and develops solutions featuring rapid deployment and efficient operation to help customers achieve success. As of the present, the company has deployed more than 480 data centers around the world including 160 cloud data centers. |
