Gionee, on Saturday launched its flagship Elife S7 slim smartphone in India with 5.5 mm thickness for Rs. 24,999. The device was unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. The device measures 139.8x67.4x5.5 mm and weighs 127 gm. The device will hit the stores in a week time and will be available in Black, White and Blue colours variants.
The Elife S7 is a dual-SIM smartphone and features a 5.2 inch full HD Super Amoled display with 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 424 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs the company's Amigo 3.0 UI on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Elife S7 is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 coupled with 2GB RAM.
Gionee Elife S7 includes a 13 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixel front camera. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage, but is not expandable using microSD card. For connectivity, Gionee Elife S7 includes - 4G LTE (TDD Bands 38, 39, 40; FDD Bands 3, 7), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB OTG, and FM radio.
Gionee Elife S7 is powered backed by a non-removable 2700 mAh battery, which according to Gionee enables the Elife S7 to last whole day. An 'extreme mode' on device is also said to enable the last 10 percent of battery power to potentially last for another 33 hours 45 minutes of standby time. |
