Indian smartphone maker Lava, on Thursday launched the Iris X1 Atom for Rs. 4,444. There is no exact date of its availability, however, the smartphone will be available on major retailers by next week.
Lava Iris X1 Atom is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and will receive an Android 5.0 Lollipop update over-the-air (OTA). Iris X1 Atom features a 4 inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution with pixel density of 233 ppi and 16.7 million colour gamut. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Iris X1 Atom sports a 5 megapixel PureCel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. The device is power backed by a 1750 mAh battery. For connectivity, Iris X1 Atom includes - 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 and USB 2.0. The device comes with software features like Smart Swipe, which is a 4 way gesture shortcut that enables users to rotate images using two fingers; double tap to wake up, and Active Shot, a one-step shortcut to click images.
Lava Iris X1 Atom will be available in White-Silver, Black-Silver, and Black-Gold colour variants. |
