Micromax subsidiary brand Yu Televentures on Tuesday launched its second smartphone, the Yu Yuphoria, in India. The smartphone has been priced for Rs. 6,999 and will be exclusively available through Amazon India. The first flash sale is scheduled for May 28 for which registrations begin at 5pm IST on Tuesday.
Yu Yuphoria dual-SIM smartphone comes with metal body and 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) TFT IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12 and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with 2GB RAM and and Adreno 306 GPU.
Yu Yuphoria smartphone also has 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and LED flash, a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Its inbuilt storage is 16GB.
Yu Yuphoria smartphone also comes with an app themer that allows users to customise the look and feel of the device. Also, users can expect a Truecaller integrated dialler.
For connectivity options smartphone has Bluetooth, 4G and also supports most sensors found in flagship devices with 2230mAh battery.
For audio, Yu Yuphoria smartphone gets Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo chip with Quick charge feature as well.
Yu Yuphoria smartphone measures 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams.
Yu Yuphoria smartphone will be available in steel with Buffed black and Champagne gold with white colour variants. |
