Samsung has launched the world's slimmest tablet, with a 5.6mm thickness, the voice-calling tablet, Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant in India, priced for Rs. 39,400. The tablet will be available from Wednesday in retail stores across the country.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant also come up with free 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage feature for two years and also access to the Microsoft Office Suite as well.
And for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant users, Airtel also offers free 2GB of 4G Internet data per month for two months as well.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant comes with 9.7-inch QXGA (2048x1536 pixels) resolution Super Amoled display. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, powered by a company's own octa-core Exynos 5433 processor (four cores with 1.9GHz + four cores with 1.3GHz) and 3GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant also has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 2.1-megapixel front camera. Its inbuilt storage is 32GB which can be expandable up to 128GB through microSD card.
For connectivity options tablet has 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, supports both LTE bands in India, 1800MHz Band 3 and 2300MHz Band 40, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 BLE, GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, accelerometer, fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, hall sensor, and RGB sensor.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant also has 5870mAh battery, which can deliver up to 12 hours of talk time and tab also sports SideSync feature as well.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant measures 169x237.3x5.6mm, weighs 392 grams.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant will be available in Gold, Black, and White colour variants.
