Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 5 in India, priced for Rs. 53,900 for the 32GB variant model and Rs. 59,900 for the 64GB variant model with 4G LTE support feature. It will go on sale on September 20 and pre-orders starts from Monday onwards and consumers, who will pre-book the Note 5, will also get a free wireless charger and a one-time screen replacement as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes with 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) Super-Amoled display with a pixel density of 515ppi. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz processor with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilisation, a 5-megapixel front camera. The camera app can be opened with a double press on the home button, which also bears the fingerprint sensor as well. It comes in two inbuild storage capacity – one is, 32GB and second is 64GB, which cannot be expandable through microSD card.
Sor connectivity options Note 5 has Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, 4G LTE, NFC and MST technology as well to support the Samsung Pay mobile payment service.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also comes with 3000mAh non-removable battery, with fast charging feature technology; wired charging will deliver a full charge in approximately around 90 minutes, and wireless charging a full charge in approximately around 120 minutes.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5, users also received a free 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has new set of productivity tools such as SideSync, a much refined fifth-generation S Pen capabilities for better multitasking, along with the Air Command feature has also been given an upgrade and shows a hovering icon for quick access to stylus tools. Scroll Capture offers annotation and screen or text capturing abilities as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium colour variants. |
