OnePlus has launched the new OnePlus X dual SIM, 4G smartphone in India, in two variants Onyx variant has a black glass on metal bezels, priced for Rs. 16,999 and limited edition Ceramic variant made from zirconia mould, priced for Rs. 22,999.
Smartphone will be made available through the company's invite system, and will go on sale through Amazon India. It will be available from November 5 for the Onyx variant, and November 24 for the Ceramic variant. OnePlus mentioned only 10,000 units of the Ceramic variant will be made available globally as well.
OnePlus X dual SIM, 4G smartphone comes with 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Amoled display, smartphone, features a hardware Alert Slider, capacitive keys, metal frame, and dual speaker grilles on the bottom panel. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with company's OxygenOS UI and powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
OnePlus X dual SIM, 4G smartphone also has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and an f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Its inbuilt storage is 16GB which can be expandable up to 128GB through microSD card.
For connectivity options smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio with OnePlus Radio app, as well as its new OnePlus Icon in-ear headphone and Micro-USB and 4G LTE with non-removable 2525mAh battery.
OnePlus X dual SIM, 4G smartphone measures Ceramic variant weighs in at 160 grams, while the Onyx variant weighs 138 grams.
OnePlus X dual SIM, 4G smartphone cases will also be made available in Rosewood, Black Apricot, Bamboo, Karbon, and Sandstone options.
The Chines Company announced the smartphones to be sold in the country will be produced in China. India production will begin from November.
