Flipkart starts selling Cars and Bikes online on its platform

Flipkart has started a local experiment in its headquarters situated in Bengaluru to sell cars and motorcycles on its online platform.

The company has signed with two local dealers, a Khivraj Motors for Bajaj motorcycles and Kalyani Motors for Maruti Suzuki cars, to sell on its platform and within the city only.

The Snapdeal also launched the new Snapdeal Motors segment on its platform. Snapdeal has tied up with Hero Motors and Piaggio to sell motorcycles and mini trucks on its site.

To book a car, you have to pay a minimum amount of INR 10,000 and once your payment is sent and approved by the car dealer, he will notify you the further details and will also arrange for a test drive purpose as well.
