Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry, on Monday launched the latest DTEK50 and the DTEK60 Android-based smartphones in India. DTEK50 is priced at Rs. 21,990 and DTEK60 is priced at Rs. 46,990. Sale of DTEK50 will start this weekend, whereas DTEK60 will go on sale in early December.
Both DTEK50 and DTEK60 is single-SIM device. DTEK50 sports a 5.2 inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution and pixel density of 424 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC with 3GB RAM. It sports a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. The smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 2TB using microSD card.
For connectivity, DTEK50 includes - 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, FM radio, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC. It is power backed by a 2610 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology. It is rated to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time, and up to 12.8 days standby time. DTEK50 measures 147x72.5x7.4 mm and weighs 135 grams. It also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
BlackBerry DTEK60 features a 5.5 inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels screen resolution with pixel density of 534 ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC (with two Kryo cores clocked at 2.15GHz, and two Kryo cores clocked at 1.6GHz) with 4GB RAM. The smartphone sports a 21 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. DTEK60 comes with 32GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 2TB using microSD card.
DTEK60 is power backed by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and is rated to deliver up to 26 hours of talk time, and up to 14 days of standby time. For connectivity, DTEK60 includes - 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC. The device measures 153.9x75.4x7 mm and weighs 165 grams. It also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. |
