Communication equipment maker Polycom Inc. has announced its second quarter result ended on June 30, 2008 wherein the company recorded a net revenue growth of 16 per cent to reach $271.6 million from last years second quarter 2007 which was $233.9 million.

The net income reported by the company for the second quarter 2008 was $17.8 million as compared to $10.1 million last year.
