Chunghwa Telecom eyes 3000 femtocell base stations

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), a Taiwan telecom service provider plans to buy 3000 femtocell base stations. This tender has attracted Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel-Lucent, Samsung Electronics and NEC to participate in the bidding process, the company said.

 

The result of the femtocell project will be announced in September as the testing and verification processes will take some time.
