Kingfisher Airlines Limited has sought permission from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to allow the use of cell phones on the board in its about to launch Bangalore-London flight.
The company claims that it has made all necessary provisions to support all high-tech features of mobile handset without effecting operation of the aircraft.
If the DGCA grants permission to the airline, then the service is mostly likely to commence on the Bangalore-London flight scheduled for launch on September 3. The company also plans to offer the internet services on this flight. |
