Airtel, SingTel to offer free incoming calls while on roaming to Airtel users in Singapore

Telecom major Bharti Airtel Ltd. has collaborated with Singapore’s Singtel, the official sponsor of the Singapore Formula 1, to allow all Airtel customers enjoy free incoming calls while in Singapore during the Formula One race, starting from September 25 to September 29, 2008.

 

Available on both postpaid and prepaid mobile phones, the users will have to choose SingTel’s network manually on their handsets to avail the offer. The current charges for Indian travellers while on roaming in Singapore are Rs 52 per minute for postpaid subscribers and Rs 50 per minute for prepaid subscribers.
