Sterlite clinches $5mn worth Fiber Optic contract with BSNL

Sterlite Technologies Limited, a provider of wire and cable solutions, said today it has secured $5 million worth contract from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), to deploy its RIBBON LITE 288F ribbon fiber optic cables, a high density cable.

 

The fiber cables would be deployed initially in about 100 city sites across the country in the rapidly growing FTTx (fiber-to-the-"x") applications sector.
