Aricent today announced the appointment of former Wipro executive Sudip Nandy as its chief executive officer, taking over the position from Ash Bhardwaj who has resigned to pursue other interests.
“We needed a proven global leader to ensure we maximize the tremendous market opportunity in front of Aricent. Sudip’s rich track record and deep domain expertise in the communications and outsourcing industry make him a perfect fit, and we’re excited to have him join the Aricent team,” commented said James H. Greene, member of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR), one of the investors of the company.
Prior to the new position, Nandy worked as Chief Executive of the Telecom and Product Engineering Solutions Business Unit and Chief Strategy Officer at Wipro, where he was tasked with setting and driving the strategic direction of Wipro Technologies globally, including mergers and acquisitions.
“Aricent is very well positioned for this transition, and to capitalize on a market worth tens of billions of dollars. I’m thrilled to join this team at this time and look forward to adding to the company’s success,” stated Sudip Nandy on his new role. |
