European Consulting major, Capgemini said that it is confident of achieving its earlier announced targets for then year. The company posted a 6.1% rise at € 2.098 billion in revenues for Q3.
The company is aiming for sales of growth of 4-5% for the year, The company said that it aims to increase its operating margin to 8.5% from 7.4% in 2007.
"With the good level of business achieved in the third quarter and in October, we are in a position to keep our guidance for the year," said Chief Executive Paul Hermelin said.
The company said that the consulting and technology division witnessed only a 1.6% and 3% rise in business respectively. But this was offset by strong growth registered for outsourcing and local professional services at 8.6% and 10% respectively.
Regionwise, North America revenues are up by 1.1% while in Europe, all geographies recorded revenue growth: up 14.2% for Benelux, 6.3% in France and 4.3% in the United Kingdom. |
