TCS bags Ducati’s ERP contract
TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  21 Jan 2009

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced bagging a contract from Italian bike manufacturer, Ducati for deploying Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for the Italian company.

“Since we are a medium-sized company, the degree of closeness and comfort with our partner is very important,” said Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO & President, Ducati adding that TCS’s work for Ferrari was also taken into account while making the final decision.

“We have to demonstrate our capability with Ducati like we have done with our clients in the past. Associating with a global player enhances the reputation of TCS,” said S. Ramadorai, Managing Director and CEO of TCS.
