Nuance Communications appoints new Head of Mobile Marketing for India

Nuance Communications, today announced the appointment of Sumit Goswami as the company’s new head for mobile marketing business vertical in India. In his new role, Goswami will be responsible for leading the regional Strategies and Program execution for Nuance Mobile embedded and connected products in India.

 

Goswami has worked with organizations like Megasoft, Hutchison, Reliance Infocomm with his latest assignment being at Tanla Solutions as head business development for India, APAC, Middle East, and Africa.

 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian National Institute of Technology at Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu).

 

“The appointment truly reflects the importance of India as a key market for Nuance embedded and connected mobile products and solutions,” said Mr. Ray K. Tsuchiyama, Head - Global Field Marketing Group, Nuance Mobile.   “Sumit Goswami brings in-depth marketing experience and will lead regional strategies in India and further drive speech VAS applications and mobile vernacular text messaging, as well as our new mobile search applications.”
