Virgin Mobile launches ‘new Thumb Rule’ SMS scheme targeted towards youth

Virgin Mobile India launched its ‘New Thumb Rule’ SMS scheme promising to revolutionise the SMS medium and mainly targeted towards the youth.

 

Under the new scheme, subscribers will be offered 100 SMSes daily including both local as well as national and will be charged only for the first 3 messages of each type. “New Thumb Rule is a new revolutionary youth-focused proposition by making SMS the new voice of the youth. The youth love to send SMSes and we''ve almost made it free," said M.A. Madhusudan CEO, Virgin Mobile India.
