Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) posted sales of $4.338 billion for the quarter ended December 2008 as compared to $4.583 billion recorded a year earlier i.e. a dip of 5.3 %. However when compared to the preceding quarter when sales stood at $3.503 billion there is a growth rate of 23.8 percent
Loses for Q4 reached $179 million with negative operating margin of 4.1 percent.
The company’s full year sales scaled to $15.309 billion as compared to $13.393 billion recorded a year earlier. This reflects into growth rate of 14.3 percent. At the end of 2008, loses totaled 301 million as compared to $1.308 billion recorded a year ago. Operating margin for the year too improved though it remained negative scaling from -9.8 percent to -2.0 percent. |
