One97 Communications, specializing in VAS solutions and services, announced the appointment of Sanjay Singh as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Sanjay will be based out of One97’s Noida office and will be responsible for the technological as well as R&D development functions.

Sanjay joins One97 from Dilithium where he handled responsibilities related to Engineering, General Management, Business Development & Sales. He started his career as a assistant professor at IIT Roorkee and has stints in BayPackets, Aplion Networks, RiverRun, TCIL BellSouth and TCS. He has over 21 years of experience in domains related to Multimedia, Telecom, Embedded Systems, Systems Software and Applications.

One97 recently received funding from Intel Capital and has earmarked a part of the investments for the company’s expansion in R&D activities.
