Cystelcom Sistemas launches mobile social networking platform for 3G mobile operators

Cystelcom Sistemas on Thursday pulled the wraps off a new mobile social networking platform for 3G mobile operators, dubbed Veedio.

 

The company, a supplier of 3G mobile video solutions said the platform, with the capacity to incorporate features of both social networking and video sharing website, will allow operators to render seamless interaction with their social networks through any 3G device.

 

“With Veedio, operators can easily deploy valued added 3G-to-web video services such as instant video uploading and publication to websites, creation of private video-chat rooms that can be accessed via web or 3G phone and mobile marketing,” said David Ramirez, Cystelcom CTO on the new solution.

 

Further Veedio will enhance the mobile social networking communication experience by adding more functionality to social networks. “This means mobile users can instantly record, upload and share video in real time directly from their 3G phone to their social networking sites without having to use cumbersome methods,” added Ramirez.

 

In addition Veedio allows subscribers can also form private multi-party video chat rooms and invite their friends.
