Toshiba unveils its first smartphone TG01

Toshiba unveiled the family’s latest smart phone, which is also the world’s first smartphone that operates on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip set.

 

Dubbed TG01, the phone with a slim body that measures 9.1mm in thickness, is bundled with a number of features including a WVGA touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels allowing more information to be crammed on to the screen.

 

On the connectivity side there is HSDPA, GPS and WiFi, Bluetooth and a microSD slot allows you to store plenty of data.

 

 Additionally, the phone also has Toshiba’s custom-built three dimensional user interface, gesture operations and a tilt sensor that is incorporated in the handset.
