GSMA forges partnerships with Belgacom and Royal Bank of Scotland

The GSMA today announced that it has entered into partnership with Belgacom ICS (International Carrier Services) as well as its technology partner eServGlobal and the RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) in an effort to extend its mobile money transfer (MMT) programme.

 

GSMA said that the MMT started in 2007 has surged its presence from 3 to 54 markets while the number of wholesale remittance providers has increased from one to 12.

 

Belgacom announced that its HomeSend solution is capable of providing international air time transfer and top up.
